Steem came out of Beta and seems crappier than ever before. I feel bad for the members who used to believe in this platform. Below is a screenshot of an import on Steemconnect not working. This function is now required for withdrawals. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with Steem being compliant with regulations but the new application literally SUCKS BALLS.
We have to make a Blocktrades account. Inside the Blocktrades account, we have to generate a Steemconnect account (which I thought was functioning before during Beta), and within Steemconnect we have to generate another password by importing our Steemconnect account. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? On top of that, the import button doesn't even work.
Steem's mission was clearly to be decentralized. Now it has become essentially impossible to withdraw to another exchange or convert our Steem. I guess our money is stuck on this platform. DPoS appears to be extremely centralized and I would be hesitant to put my money in even EOS or the hyped Tezos.
iOS application is not updating feed. Using this on an iPhone is not good.
Didn't want to drag this on too long. My overall point is that Steem is extremely centralized and has failed at providing a good application to use since regulatory concerns. Bitcoin does not have this problem, not even Ethereum. The dropping price is justified.
