So I upgraded my iphone this week and had my old iphone 6 plus to sell but unfortunately it had a cracked screen. As is, I can probably get $100-$150 for it. Since I use to repair iphones for a living, I decided to share with the community how simple it is and cheap. Just find a replacement screen on amazon, I found one next day delivery for $25. It comes with all the tools and instructions. Me personally I prefer to watch step by step how to, so youtube video is more helpful to me and perhaps others. Just have to remove 2 screws under home button and use a suction cup to lift screen. You then disconnect the 4 ribbon cables connecting screen to main frame. Move all parts(camera,ear speaker,home button,etc.) from old screen to new screen and reinstall. All that can be demonstrated on youtube videos. It took me about 30 minutes last night while watching the NBA finals. Today I sold my iphone for $300, double what I would have gotten had I not fixed screen.
