Welcome all to SNOUT! An online version of a local magazine idea I was floating. Based on it's predecessor "JAM" which was named in honor of the JAM WOOD that was found so predominantly in the area. SNOUT is named in honor of the JAM editors office dog that kept us all in line and who really was the 'Boss' of the whole operation.
SNOUT is going to be an insight into life in the Midwest of Western Australia and occasionally beyond as we sniff around local events, shops, holiday go to spots, hobbies and my own backyard. There will be recipes to try, places to visit, local history to uncover and more!
I am your host THE IMP. I'm a chaotic gremlin with a green thumb. I collect vinyl records like theyโre treasure & dig through local and family history like a detective. I'm a delightful mix of garden witch, history nerd, kitchen magician, and gothic mischief-maker. I won't hide behind the facade of AI all the time and will show my true impishness on occasion so don't miss any posts or you might miss out on the mystery.
