I want to say thank you. Thank you for everything that you have done for me. Thank you for giving me things that I need and taking away what I don't. I may not always know what you are doing but I trust that something good will come out of it in the end. Even if it is just a lesson, because with each one I grow wiser.
Sometimes I get frustrated - I can admit that. Life can be frustrating with all the anger and pain that comes with it, but it can also be truly beautiful. With each problem I go through I learn more about myself and the people around me. I learn that some things are in my control and some things aren't. What is in my control however; if I make a mistake I try to grow from it. Otherwise I just try to live my life.
Thank you for making me the person that I am today. I am proud of the person I am and I have everything that you have given me to thank for that. Some things have been taken and I have faced some problems; but I can honestly say that I wouldn't appreciate everything I have if I didn't go through all of it. Every problem I have gone through has helped chip away my once block persona and carved me into the person that I am today.
Mainly I want to say thank you for helping me grow to love myself. Many years I did not and through everything I have learned to. I have grown into a person that can accept others for who they are, I can stand up for myself and others, and I can stand tall because I know who I am. I know all that and I am this person because of what you - Universe - have given me. So I thank you - I thank you every single day and even then it won't be enough. So I will try to repay you by teaching others the lessons you have taught me and by being kind to you, others, and myself. One step at a time we will grow and glow - together.
