Hello friends! Today I want to share with you a peculiar event that brought me a great lesson and from the least expected place or rather, the least desired animal haha (I am terrified of rats) and of all that I have come across in my life I would say that This will be the most difficult to forget.
It all started a few months ago, one morning I woke up and saw that part of the food that I usually leave out of the refrigerator was all bitten or what we know in my country as ru帽ido (which means that a rat or mouse was eating it) that I was surprised since we had never had rats at home but I didn't give it any importance so I just threw away the food, told my sister about it and then we agreed to take care of it by placing a trap or something to catch it. A few weeks later I left my room to the kitchen and saw how quickly the abusive rat ran away when it saw me and as a natural instinct of women I also ran back to the room haha, when I saw it this time I realized that it was small to So I stayed in my room for a long time while the scare went away. For some reason, every time I went shopping I forgot to buy something to catch the rat and as time passed and we didn't see it again, we didn't give it any more importance and we forgot about it.
A few days ago I was in my room and suddenly I see it come running in and get under my bed, but it was no longer the small rat that I had seen before, this one was huge, huge, the little one in the house had grown (to which my cowardly instinct activates again hahaha) I ran to my sister's room and told her that the rat was in mine (it is important to note that my sister is worse than me with this rat thing because she not only runs but screams like crazy)
Since we had to get her out of my room since I wouldn't dare sleep there, we made a plan in which I would hit the bottom of the bed with a broom to get her to come out and my sister would wait for her outside with another broom. catch her The plan worked but not completely because the rat did come out but my sister didn't catch it and it went under our kitchen.
It took us about 15 minutes deciding who would move the kitchen and who would wait to catch her since neither of us wanted to haha but seeing as she had already failed to hit it the first time, it was my turn.
She began to move the kitchen forward and I would look behind the kitchen from above to make her come out.
To which to my surprise
As she moved the kitchen forward, a surprising amount of garbage, leftover food, some tissues that I had lost, and even some small glass cups that I hadn't seen at home for a while came out behind her. I was shocked because if I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed that all that could fit under my kitchen (the entrance to Narnia was small 馃槀) We had to take everything out of our kitchen and we emptied every corner of the area, managing to get the rat out.
This whole experience left me with a traumatic but great lesson and that is that many times situations come into our lives that seem small, that do not represent an immediate danger to us and for this reason we do not give it importance, we let it pass and sometimes we let it go. responsibility "to time" since as it heals and resolves everything but it is not like that, time passes and situations grow and with each one that is not attended to, the problem becomes bigger and the more difficult it is to take charge or control it, I The truth is that I would not have known what to do if, by continuing to ignore the situation, that rat had had babies since I imagine that that was what the nest it was preparing was for. Sometimes fear will be a limitation in facing the situation, but remember that every time you face a problem Despite being afraid, you become stronger and really that is where courage lies in daring to face it even if it terrifies you. I made the mistake of leaving open the place where the rat entered and even worse, I allowed it to remain knowing that it was there, ignoring it. complete the danger that it could cause by multiplying or causing any illness to my sister and me, to which I can say DO NOT GIVE PLACE TO THE PROBLEM, if something comes into your life and it in some way can represent a danger to your life, your house, your family, your health, your spirit and even your heart as the center of your emotions DO NOT LET IT ENTER and if for some reason it manages to enter DO NOT IGNORE IT, attend to the situation and face the problem because time will not take care of it and when It takes a long time and everything drags on but you can, you make the decisions, you determine the limits.
I close with this... When courage and effort come together they make fears a funny memory.
