Hago un llamado desde las alturas,
desde la cúspide de esta montaña,
donde hay paz y seguridad,
para que vengas a por mi.
I make a call from the heights,
from the top of this mountain,
where there is peace and security,
to come for me.
Puedes verme disfrutar de mirar,
entre el verde de los árboles,
sentir la adrenalina en mi interior,
por subir y mirar el mundo desde aquí.
You can see me enjoy watching,
among the green of the trees,
feeling the adrenaline rush inside me,
to climb up and look at the world from here.
Quiero ser un niño natural,
haber nacido entre la húmeda grama,
tan fuerte como un viejo tronco,
tan sublime como sus alturas.
I want to be a natural child,
born among the damp grass,
as strong as an old trunk,
as sublime as its heights.
Puedo mirar al conejo andar,
buscando de qué alimentar,
fijando su mirada tierna,
ante mis ojos y conectar.
I can watch the rabbit walk,
looking for something to feed on,
fixing its tender gaze
before my eyes and connect.
Pero luego un lobo feroz aparece,
y de la nada lo atajó,
mostrando cuán feroz era,
algo que me ha llenado de terror.
But then a big bad wolf appears,
and out of nowhere tackled him,
showing how ferocious it was,
something that filled me with terror.
Allí fue que lo comprendí,
no hay lugar para mi,
porque yo fui llamado perfecto,
y entre mi solo hay bondad.
That's when I understood,
there is no place for me,
for I was called perfect,
and among me there is only goodness.
Antes no sabia qué era,
ante este mundo un tanto cruel,
pensé en seguir el sonido de pájaros,
danzan en mis oídos cada amanecer.
I didn't know what it was before,
in the face of this somewhat cruel world,
I thought of following the sound of birds,
dance in my ears every dawn.
Nada acá me hace bien,
y por otro lado todo esta mal,
no debería existir sed de matar,
ni siquiera por ansias de alimentar.
Nothing here is good for me,
and on the other hand everything is wrong,
there should be no thirst to kill,
not even for the desire to feed.
¿Qué pasa si fuese el depredador?
elegiría morir de hambre,
antes de acabar con lo único bueno,
entre este bosque y aquello llamado ciudad.
What if I were the predator?
I would choose to starve to death,
rather than kill the one good thing,
between this forest and that thing called the city.
Pero no hay escape,
así que me regreso a las alturas,
nadie debe ser perdonado por actos,
ante la crueldad de sus imperfecciones.
But there is no escape,
so I return to the heights,
no one should be forgiven for acts,
in the face of the cruelty of their imperfections.
