Hello there Steemians!
I woke up this morning with a cute little message from my sister sharing to me, some delightful pictures of the cookies she baked for my adorable nephew who requested these cookies.
These cookies are already cooked. It may look raw. Perhaps, it was because of the color, but my sister confirmed that these cookies are ready to be eaten.
My sister has no work. Since my niece is away from home with her dad in Poland, for the burial of my brother-in-law's deceased father, my little nephew is left at home with my sister (who is his mom).
It's my sister's bereavement leave and rest day as well. She stayed at home because she did not have that much to do anymore. Then, my nephew requested to bake him some cookies.
At the age of 5, my nephew already know how to read. He was actually the one who found this on his borrowed books from the library, and then instantly went to his mom and asked her if she could make it for him.
When her mom finished baking the cookies, he said he's going to set aside a few of the cookies for his sister. He was so funny that he even reminded his grandma (my mom), not to eat all the cookies, and leave some for his sister, so she could eat the cookies too when she comes back form Poland.
This is my nephew. At the age 3, he started to learn how to spell a few words and could read a few of them. Now that he's 5, he could already read and understand what he's reading.
That's it for today, guys. Thanks for dropping by.
