I've been craving ramen, so i decided to dine in at A cube japanese restuarant with my mom this day, funnily enough this place has been open for 5 years but i only found out about it last may during all the facebook drama about the new open japanese restuarant in our area ( i dined in there too, after the opening day, my blog post about it is sitting at 80% in my drafts, hahaha but i'll post it soon i just want to post this one first) anyways going back, thanks to all that noise on fb, i ended up finding this hidden gem
When we arrived, I realized the place was small, but it felt cozy. The lighting was also great for taking pictures.
I had a hard time reading their menu on the board 😅 so i had to double check on their page for it
anyways the place is known for serving delicious ramen at a budget friendly price, and as someone who loves ramen, I was really curious to try it out for myself.
I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and when it was served, i was surprised by the bowl size. i thought "this size for only ₱250? that's a bargain" similar sizes like this at other japanese restaurant usually run around ₱400+ and upon tasting, the flavor did not dissapoint too. I officially declared that this is my favorite place now 😊
i ordered their ebi maki roll and i gotta say it's very delicious,
I ordered chicken and rice for my mom because japanese food just never suits her palate. Every time I asked if she liked the food, she kept saying no. She only had a single piece of maki roll and a small share of my ramen and said she's already full.
her chicken and rice arrived late, i told mom it's hers but she said she's already full *sobs T_T
anyways, i really loved the place and i want to come back here again and taste their other foods
