Today was a very good day for me. So I was invited for a programme organized by an entertainment company. The aim for the meeting was to connect with content creators and develop ways to make good and quality contents for everyone. A lot of persons attended especially young people who are currently interested in the entertainment industry.

We had keynote speakers who came in from other states to teach people on what quality contents should be and the need to put it out. We were taught on the value of putting out contents on YouTube. YouTube is a money making platform if you use it very well. No wonder everyone is rushing to have their contents uploaded on YouTube.

I met a lot of persons and was happy to meet my university classmates too. I didn't know that a good number of them have delved into the media and it is really a good thing. Another reason for the meeting was to also officially open the studio area of the company that organized the meeting. I was so happy to see a lot of equipments.

People are really doing well for themselves if you ask me. I couldn't get enough pictures because my battery was low at some point. After the lectures, I was called to talk a little about the media and I did. I wasn't prepared for this and didn't even have an idea that I would speak. I spoke a little from my experience as a broadcaster. I also talked about my new found love in writing too. After my presentation, some group of people met me to guide them on how to be broadcasters. They asked to pay me but I declined. I have offered to guide them without collecting a dime from them. I did this because I saw their zeal to learn and I love it when I see young people who want to learn and do something for themselves.
I went to the new studio. Unfortunately, I couldn't take enough pictures because my battery was flat. Instead of just standing there, looking at everybody, I helped to share the snacks. They were a lot of persons in attendance and only two persons were delegated to share snacks. So I had to help out. I overheard someone saying that I am a humble lady just because I was sharing snacks. I laughed because that didn't look like a big deal. Besides I did it mainly because I was waiting for my husband to come and pick me up.
My husband finally came and I forgot to use his phone to take more pictures of the studio. I will try and go back there just to intentionally take pictures of the whole place. I had fun seeing a lot of persons around. I also learnt some good things on content creation which is good for me. One thing is learning and another thing is practising. I hope to practise all that I have learnt.
