Found a ‘Hidden’ Shop for DIY Lovers, with a Bonus Coffee Shop for a Coffee Lover Like Me
After work, my mom and I went out to buy some stuff. By the time we finished, it was already noon, so we decided to head inside the mall for some refreshments.
Then I suddenly remembered that Papa needed some alcohol that smells nice to use on his helmet whenever he goes out for work. He works as a rider, and honestly, I know how customers feel when they have to wear a helmet that smells awful! 😅 So, for a better riding experience and hopefully a good customer rating, I suggested getting some fragrant alcohol.
That’s when I remembered to drop by Asteria Apothecary since we are already inside the mall.
I frequently visit this mall to go thrift shopping, but believe it or not, I had no idea this place existed until recently! It’s not very visible, and the stairs leading to the entrance are easy to miss. You’d probably discover it if you explored the mall often or if someone told you about it.
Asteria Apothecary sells all sorts of DIY supplies, especially for making perfumes.
They have fragrance oils, soap-making and perfume-making ingredients, and other materials for anyone who wants to explore their creativity and experiment with their own creations.
The best part for me though is the café inside! The place is spacious and relaxing, and there weren’t many people when we visited, so we could enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The smell was one of my favorite things about the place. Imagine the lovely combination of fragrant oils and freshly brewed coffee. It’s such an interesting mix that makes you want to stay a little longer, enjoy your coffee and pastry, and just relax.
Unfortunately, no coffee for me when I came because we were in a hurry as it's already past my bed time. I decided to try their coffee on my next visit. So, I'm just ahowing you what the cafe inside looks like.
Unfortunately, they run out of alcohol, and I had to skip my coffee. Well, not every little adventure goes as planned, but at least we visited the place and I got to show my mom around.
