Hello, everyone! Just dropping by to share a little update.

After work, my officemates asked me to join them for lunch because one of our coworkers is getting married soon. She’ll be going to the province for her wedding and will be away from the office for two weeks. So, the girls planned a little send-off lunch for her. Well, any excuse to go out and eat together is a good excuse, right? 😂

We had lunch at Gerry’s Grill, a Filipino restaurant, and ordered a few dishes. We had sinigang na bangus, which is my favorite, along with sisig, and pancit.

Of course, we had to take a group photo before leaving. The only problem? The waiter didn’t seem to know how to take a proper picture, or maybe he was just in a hurry. Our faces ended up slightly cropped, but, at least we got a photo to remember the day. It’s not perfect, but it’s part of the memory.

We were all too hungry that we forgot to take photos of the food.

After lunch, we headed to a nearby Starbucks. Actually, that was the original plan! But since I had skipped lunch because I was supposed to be dieting (emphasis on supposed to 🤣), I was already so hungry while we were still in the car.

I kept talking about how hungry I was until everyone else started feeling hungry, too. So, lunch came first, and Starbucks had to wait.

So much for my diet plans! Why is it so easy to say, “I’ll really start dieting this time,” but so hard to stick to it? lol

Everyone ordered according to their preferences. We got some refreshments, while others went for chocolate drinks. We have to sleep once we get home so we had to refrain from getting coffee.

As for me, I ordered my favorite Mango Dragonfruit drink. It’s my usual choice whenever I want something sweet and refreshing without coffee.

Another groupfie before they start gossipping lol

While the girls were busy chatting and sharing chika, I was busy talking to one of my coworker’s little boys, whom I met for the first time. We instantly clicked! We talked about Roblox and played some games together. Before we said goodbye, he even asked me to add him on Roblox so we could play again. Looks like I’ve officially become his favorite auntie😅

And that’s pretty much it! Just a simple after-shift lunch, good food, refreshing drinks, and a new little friend.

By the way, my account was hacked a few days ago, and I lost my HIVE and HBD earnings. It’s upsetting, of course, but I don’t want to dwell on it anymore. What’s done is done, and life goes on.

So, here I am, slowly getting back to posting and sharing little moments from my lifw. One day at a time 💗
