Hello there guys, it's josediccus@josediccus here again and today I saw anomadsoul@anomadsoul's HIVE CHALLENGE! - My Quarantine Goals & Challenges a blocktrades@blocktrades sponsored contest and i decided to participate. The truth is it's not everyday that one gets to be experience a pandemic such as corona virus. Since I've been existing I've never seen anything capable of placing the human society on lockdown and thereby decreasing the full functionalities of how people gets to live, work, associate with the loved ones and many others. Truth is we've seen viruses; as a matter of fact, ebola came and went and never leaving quarter an impact as corona virus is currently doing and inasmuch as we want to dwell on the negatives brought about by this virus; one things is inevitable, we'll get past corona virus, but how about achieving something in real time?

I believe quarantine brings a lot of boredom but why should this be so? Why should it have to be mundane without us taking positives from a really negative situation to improve our lives? Hitting new milestones, doing bigger things and of course the word: taking advantage?

Quarantine officially started in Nigeria about 8 to 12 days ago and prior to it, I've been a really busy person; combining education, work and of course other side activities. I've been of course meaning to write an anthology and that's a collection of poem. I however suppose to have hit this goal when I had a two week break in December of 2019 but I discovered I couldn't really create, I wanted to write 40 poems in just two weeks because I'll be very busy in January but I ended up writing only 4 in about two weeks and I lost the opportunity of being published on Amazon because a friend could have published my anthology for me had it been I could have come up with 40 poems to make up an anthology in 2 weeks.

So What Are My Real Time Goals During Quarantine?

Needless to say, poetic creative writing needs more time to write more than prose or drama plus i found myself psychologically unsettled an unable to create in december so I lost the opportunity to be published online. Well inasmuch as corona virus and quarantine is something really disappointing, I think I'll take this time to write about 30 poems through the time the lockdown period might last for

But how do I hope to do this?

Presently no one knows the time frame which the quarantine or lockdown will be called off, from the cases arising and the fact that nothing like a vaccine or cure is being spoken of, I don't think it'll be anytime soon. I might not get to publish my analogy after writing it but I hope yo get a few friends to write the acknowledgement and preface for me. The book cover is something that can be done within three days, so if I start design a book cover tomorrow April 6th 2020 it'll be done in about three days latest on 9th of April 2020 Now it takes more time to write poetic appreciations as well as book critic but since it's a relatively free time I can start contacting some senior colleagues and some published and recognised author already. On the 10th of April 2020. I already have Martins Tomisin the author of Larynx in the Lake to write the critic and literary appreciation. But it might take close to a week to do so. So from the 10th of April to 17th I would have gotten everything necessary to compile my book.

So the theme of my book might revolve around Africanism and Eternal Love and one thing that strongly is the palm tree and I'm hoping to use this in the depiction of my book cover or the design something like this;

So in real time, I already started writing some prompt and I started writing on April 1st 2020 so far I've written about 10 poems and spending about 6 to 7 hours writing two poems a day and as you can see I'm using my notes on my phone and if I write two poems a day from April 1st to April 15th that will mean that I'll have about 30 poems by the 15th of April and I can decide to add another 5 poems to make up the anthology so by the 20th of April, I'll be having 35 poems ready for publishing at any time.

In earnest all these are real time possibilities which of course might take a twist. There is a chance that there might be unforeseen circumstances which might arise but like I said earlier, this is a plan of real-time goal which I hope to achieve in this lockdown period and I hope I can do this before the end of the lockdown is finally announced.
