Your tale,
is a cook-and-bull story,
to them that sneers,
as it reverberates
through a thousand ears,
evolving,
taking many forms,
as it bounces like a ball
from lips to lips
a billion chatter
in the right or wrong direction,
Like Hieroglyphs,
your chronicles
are written in many places,
as it makes them bicker,
in glistening moonlight,
they're gathering,
as an army of parrots
tweeting of your past
and present
like grey haired-men
under the influence
of clattering tumblers
I knows your strivings,
you're a man
of many letters
but solemn words,
you're a mirror,
smoking with enigma.
I have seen you from afar,
butchered by their thoughts,
and torn my their musings
like vultures,
lying in wait,
you're food for their soul.
they're gnawing gleefully
as they watch you stagger,
drunken from life's woes,
and smitten by its adversity.
hitting walls in a blind frenzy
like a billion bat
in a "window-less" cage
They're judge and jury
in a voiceless society
their words are fiery,
as it pricks you gently
nibbling at your nipple
like a nest of mice.

as a thousand arrow,
whooshing with precision
as it aims for you,
thoughtless...
as an army of zombie
Your tale,
is a cook-and-bull story,
to them that whispers,
in the darkness.

you're a gladiator,
fighting in unfair territory
at the mercy of unjust umpires,
