This can caught my eye. When I looked closer, it turned out to be a charity beer—something I've never come across before.

25 cents from every can is donated to charity. In this case, Wounded Warriors.

♥️ The Wounded Warriors charity

This is a national mental health service provider here in Canada. It focuses on helping our veterans, first responders, and their families with things like PTSD and other trauma. Given the toll the pandemic has had on first responders especially, I thought that this organization was a great choice on the part of Tomorrow Brew Co.

🍺 The beer itself

It was a nice, crisp lager. Nothing too heavy, nothing too crazy. Got the job done and makes you feel extra good while drinking it. The brewer describes it as, "Crisp, clean, crushable and now charitable too!"

🍞 What's up with the bread?

My partner and I got a sourdough making lesson from my friend, and that lovely loaf is one of the outcomes of our learning :)

We've acquired some starter and have fed it, so maybe later this week we'll try our hand at making some.
