It's Saturday Monday night, but it's #beersaturday, and I had a beer with dinner on Saturday, just cba to write this post!!
A new beer for Beer Saturday
I was in Aldi on Saturday afternoon getting some messages!
I just sauntered past the beer aisle .... and saw this beer!
IRON FLUFFING BREW
Scotland's national drink is whisky but our other national drink is Irn Bru that orange soft drink made from girders...
So when I saw this Iron Brew, an alcoholic version I had to try it...
What is it with so many beers saying they are vegan friendly, why not say it is fluffing wet too!
Beer poured and yes it had that orangey colour... and it was sweet but not sickly sweet, yes it was an iron brew taste, not a Barrs Irn Bru the original taste, but a bloody good attempt by the brewers FIERCE BEER.
I have drunk a few of their beers now ....
I did say in the title Iron Brew and a Chinese, the Chinese being a Chinese takeway, which was pretty damn tasty too!
Talking of crackers, the beer and food were a pair of crackers!
I had to have the crab and sweetcorn soup with prawn crackers for a starter ...

The Beer ...
