Hello Scholar & Scribe,
A few years ago, I serialized six novellas of Hunting Midnight here on Hive. I stopped at six, because book #7 hadn't been finished. And in that time, I started exploring more reader focussed communities that I might syndicate or relaunch into.
I found (or rather, rediscovered) the vibrant reader base at Royal Road and decided that I wanted to try a launch there, but only if I could shake the cobwebs off the keyboard and actually finish the dang story.
As of yesterday, I am happy to report that Hunting Midnight, Volume 1, is complete at nine novellas and almost a quarter million words! I'll still be spending some time editing and polishing and getting ready for a launch on Royal Road in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, I thought I'd ping my old readlist and let them know. I also plan to DM y'all on Discord with a request for some help in the launch :) I think I found most of you there, but if you're not interested (or are very interested!) feel free to leave me a comment here too.
