Today might be the day.
The day when my future home will be revealed.
It seems the appraiser has had his way,
His report to the VA has been sealed.
Now, it remains a waiting game,
Where my nerves are stretched to the limit.
Will it be a verdict to fill me with shame?
Will I now have all the moving stresses again?
How much can one old man endure?
From whence shall my help arrive?
Only time will that question cure.
Until that time can I survive?
What things the human spirit endures;
What stresses and heartaches we adjure!

Image is of a house back home, it has quite a long history, of which I know but a little. The house may be gone now for all I know
These .gifs were created for me by @coquiunlimited; many thanks
