The pictures above were taken on a cold morning in the farm before harvesting commenced. I just felt like taking some pictures and I did.
I shared some pictures of how ginger is harvested in Chori and I will be sharing more pictures today and in several series to come.
Farming is lovely and I will encourage you to farm, no matter how small you start. It is a lovely adventure.

HOW IT IS DONE
If you look properly, you will see the harvested ginger on the ground. The guys or the male are in charge of digging the ground and uprooting the ginger from the soil.
The women then remove the root hairs and packing them into the white bags. Then my friend and some other guys help to arrange and sew the bags before it is moved out from the farms.
