Falling into the void, his life flashed before his eyes like a slow motion movie.

The moments of loneliness, the existential doubts, the hopelessness that had led him to that fateful outcome.

Suddenly, as he passed the ninth floor, he saw her.

A young woman with a radiant smile, enjoying the morning breeze on her balcony. As ethereal as an angel.

In that tiny moment he had left to live, he wondered why he hadn't met her before.

Perhaps she would have been the light to dispel his darkness, the reason to cling to existence.
