I came across @Princessbusayo entry to the recent Hive Open Mic #115 music event for this week uploaded on ThreeSpeak, and the theme was "Doing The Work." I mentioned here before that I don't really sing well but that's a talent I wish I had. @Olasquare whom I called uncle on this platform encouraged me to sing more as he said, my voice can be enhanced, which I hope I could. So I opted to join Hive Open Mic's challenge to enhance my voice. The community moderator also invited me once to join their challenges after watching my video where I sang the song At The Beginning.
This week's challenge "Doing The Work," got me thinking about what song to choose since I have no idea about it. I asked this Chinese young lady friend of mine about any song with the theme "Doing The Work" or working together. She mentioned her idol's song with the English title "Dream It Possible" and the song has an English version too. As she said, the song is about "dreaming together" and so I chose it.

I was having a hard time uploading my video on 3Speak, it always failed, so I opted to upload it on Youtube.
Dream it possible talks about dreaming and making it possible. As the chorus stated, when our dreams become alive, we become unstoppable. This is so true. We become motivated more to pursue our dreams if there is something or someone that fuels it.

It is easy though to make dreams, to fantasize life we want, to wish for things that seem impossible to happen. But dreaming without working is worthless. We shouldn't just dream, but rather take a step, move forward, face the challenges, and conquer the obstacles to make those dreams happen.
But not all the time we can achieve the things we wanted, we fail as well. However, we should make our failures our eye-opener to self-reflect, and we should make them our inspiration to do better, to become a better version of ourselves. Just like in the song,

We fall, we stumble, we crumble, BUT, we shouldn't stop our journey, we shouldn't stop dreaming. Because only when we stop do we become a failure. When dreaming, the sky's is the limit. So let's just continue dreaming, and continue working until we make it real, until we achieve the dream we wanted.

Just think positively, and things that seem to be impossible can become possible. Days that seem to be dark will become brighter. As long as we are doing the right thing without stepping into anyone when achieving our dreams, then we will glow in the dark and the dust would become gold. There'll be no impossible.

It doesn't matter how long will it take to achieve our dreams. What matters are the things we did while creating and working to make them happen. We shouldn't stop making better things while dreaming. We should just keep going in life and keep dreaming.

Then it's worth fighting for🎶
Just like in the song, if it takes a thousand lives, that means, it's worth fighting for, it's worth dreaming. We are not alone in our journey towards achieving our dreams. There are always people who could help us get through life's challenges to make our dreams happen. We just need to look around us, to open our arms to possibilities and people who are willing to pull their sleeves and reach their hands to us.
No one is an island. Together, with the people we love, our inspiration, let's dream, and do the work to make them happen.
