This year, I've visited the emergency room twice.
March of this year was the first.

First Emergency

My life partner and I visited the mall one day to take a look around.
We had lunch at a Thai Restaurant where the food is spicy.
I began to get chest pain after an hour. My feet and hands are getting chilly. I'm certain that something bad will occur. I asked my partner to come with me to the restroom. I was tempted to throw up.

I entered the male restroom and made an effort to throw up.
Nothing came out, the agony increased, and I am now sweating profusely.
I was beginning to worry since my body was growing weaker, but I calmed myself. I asked my partner to call a security guard.

The guards immediately came, and I was brought to their clinic. I asked for antacids because I knew my acid was high again. I called my aunt, who is a doctor, and told her that I needed to go to the hospital because I was in so much pain. I've never felt this much pain before in my entire life.

I was then brought to our local city hospital. The pain is still there. My chest feels like it is being crushed, and my armpits feel like they are being impaled. The doctor injected me with something for acidity. After that, the pain slowly went away. They did a laboratory test, XRAY, ECG, etc.

What happened to me was My acidity got severe and it gave me Non-Cardiac Chest Pain

Noncardiac chest pain is characterized as persistent pain in your chest that is unrelated to your heart and often occurs behind your breast bone and close to your heart. Noncardiac chest pain is typically caused by esophageal issues, most commonly gastroesophageal reflux illness (GERD).

Back story

I enjoy drinking coffee, and I typically have ten cups every day.
I had slight chest pain two days before this occurred, but I chose to ignore it.
I am aware that I have acid reflux, but I can tolerate the slight discomfort it causes.

Second Emergency

I started to feel a little odd when I was in a video conversation with my friend. I then became aware of my difficulty speaking. My face is sagging when I saw myself on my laptop's screen. I tried to raise my left arm, but I couldn't do it.

I said goodbye to my friend and tried to calm down. I realized that I was having a stroke. After a few seconds, I regained control of my body. It is now back to normal. I can move again and my face looks normal again.

I still went to the emergency room because I got scared. They made a test on xray, CT scan etc. most of the results are fine. The CT scan showed (if I remember what the doctor told me) a blood clot, She analyzed it and told me that I had a Mini Stroke. Everything is fine now, she just gave me aspirin and medicine for my cholesterol.

Transient ischemic attack (TIA) is frequently meant when the phrase "ministroke" is used. A transient ischemic attack is a momentary interruption of blood flow to a portion of the brain, spinal cord, or retina that may cause transient symptoms like a stroke but does not harm brain tissue or result in permanent disability.

Back Story

My girlfriend and I attended a dinner buffet two days before that minor attack.
We had already missed the reservation time.
The manager told me to take whatever I wanted to eat when I got there.
He even served me a platter of roasted beef and pork.
It took me an hour to finish everything.
Being that the supper was pricey, I made an effort to finish it all.
My head felt as though it was beating rather than hurting somewhat. I disregarded it.

Lesson

let us not abuse our bodies, we may look strong and fit outside but we don't know what is happening on the inside. You should practice living a healthy life regardless of age. When these illnesses hit, you will not only be in pain physically, but it will also torture you every time you feel something. It made me paranoid.

Now I only drink coffee occasionally, and I only eat pork once a month and in small portions. I also minimized my smoking. before I used to finish 2 packs, now it is only half a pack.

I know I'm still not that disciplined but I am trying my best to heal my body from all the damage that I have given to it.

I hope you guys learned a valuable lesson today, let us not act when it's already late. If you're still healthy now but your lifestyle is bad. try to change it slowly.

Avoid Drinking, Smoking, Sleeping late and eating unhealthy food. Do some Exercise during your free time.

Don't limit your repairs to the car's exterior. Check the engine as well; otherwise, you won't be able to drive your automobile and nobody will be able to admire its lovely color.

Thank you for reading my post and have a healthy day!
