Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm about to talk about another mission of RDR 2 where Arthur joins John in another job after the train hijack.
John had a plan to rustle a herd of sheep and sell them at an auction in Valentina.
After the train hijack, John came to Valentina and was waiting for me to join him in his plan to sell a herd of sheep so I went there to find him in Valentine.
This was my second try getting a hold onto John as I messed up at the first time when I started fighting a man close to John before starting the mission with him so John escaped from this place. I had to wander around somewhere else for some times till he came back.
When Arthur asked John if he got something to do, John showed Arthur the auction and asked Arthur to help him collect some sheep.
John was saying that the train job was a start and they needed more money till they can get back to Blackwater and collect. He was taking me towards the gun store and I didn't know why.
John just asked me to head in and pickup a sniper rifle and said he'd explain later. So I went inside the gun store and found this Rolling Block Rifle which is a sniper rifle and I bought it but didn't have to spend any money probably because John already paid for it.
Getting out of the gun store, at first I checked the scope of the rifle and it looked decent although not as great as the ones we find in PUBG or recent games. Then I started following John.
Arthur was asking John why he couldn't buy the gun and John replied that he had a run in with the store keeper.
While coming to this location, Arthur was trying to convince John to take care of his family as he has a little boy and John asked why Arthur was so interested in his life when he (Arthur) had his own life to take care of.
Well after the prep talk, they reached this mountain. There were some ranchers taking a herd of sheep away and John was asking me to give them warning shot which might scare them off but I was too blind to see where they were.
I took some shots but in the wrong location and that scared the ranchers. Means I did it wrong but it worked.
Then we went close to the group of the sheep and first we did round them up and then we started taking them towards Valentine to the auction yard.
We had to hard the animals by moving behind the group to encourage them in the right direction. I could shout at them and shot in the air to move the herd faster.
We brought the group of sheep to the auction yard and someone from the auction was asking for a 25% share as he understood that we stole this herd. At first Arthur was talking rough but then they had to deal with 18%.
Dutch was waiting for them in the Saloon there in Valentine a Arthur was saying so we were going that way.
Found Dutch along with Leopold in the Saloon and Arthur reported that they were waiting for a pay on some sheep and then Dutch asked Leopold to go out taking John.
When Arthur and Dutch were having a friendly or what we call a business chat, there came a group where there was Leviticus Cornwall. Do you know who this man is?
Our first successful train robbery happened a long ago before we came to this side and we robbed Leviticus Cornwall that time although we didn't get a chance to meet him then. In case you didn't see that post, you can check that from here only if you have interest (it was a mind-blowing mission for sure).
I guess the group of sheep belong to him and that's how they got to know about our whereabouts of maybe they followed us here from the past incident.
The man left the place after made us get out and asked his men to deal with us and I had to start shooting otherwise they'd kill John and I started the fight.
They kept coming from everywhere I tried to hold them off while the other peoples were trying to escape this place taking Leopold and yeah, Leopold got shot in his leg in the meantime.
At a point, I had to carry Leopold from the cart towards the horses of my group members and then they left the place taking Leopold leaving me back.
Dutch asked Arthur to make sure nobody follows them. Dutch added that they'll gather the troops after getting back to the camp and then start packing to leave this place as they have enemies behind here as well.
Now my fight was not with the men of Leviticus Cornwall, it was the lawmen of Valentine and they kept coming until I escape.
