After calling back my spooked horse, I stowed my bounty target, Bart Cavanaugh, on its back. Following a rough ride where I had to repeatedly punch him to keep him quiet, I safely delivered him to the Strawberry jail cell, collected my reward, and walked out wondering if his gang would retaliate.
It was a good thing that my main target, Bart, was still hogtied right there at the restart, though I couldn't see his pals nearby.
I whistled for my horse, which came running toward me, finally back to its normal self after being spooked by the gunshots earlier. Glad that it had come back to its senses, I stowed Bart's body onto its back.
As we rode toward the Strawberry jail, Bart kept warning me and running his mouth. I took the opportunity to punch him to keep him quiet, but he just kept talking, so I gave him another hard hit.
John warned him that it was just as easy to turn him in dead, but when Bart kept speaking up anyway, I beat him once more. Realizing that talking only brought another beating, he stayed silent for the rest of the fast ride.
We reached Strawberry, and I rode straight to the jail. Even right outside the building, Bart pleaded with me, telling me we could work something out.
Ignoring his pleas, I hitched my horse outside, hoisted Bart over my shoulder, and walked through the front door to hand him over to the law.
Inside, the local sheriff instructed me to carry him down to the underground cells and drop him inside.
As I took him downstairs, Bart began warning the sheriff to watch out and know who he was dealing with, but the sheriff just noted that it was Bart's boss who got him in this mess. I placed Bart inside one of the two cells and locked him up.
Walking back upstairs to the sheriff's desk to collect my reward, Arthur waited as the sheriff placed a money clip on the table.
After I grabbed the cash, the sheriff mentioned that no more bounty posters would be hung on the wall for a while because the mayor didn't like them around, reminding me that they were a tourist town after all.
With the bounty mission officially completed, I walked out of the jail, hoping Bart's gang wouldn't try to hunt me down the way the Skinner Brothers did.
Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
