Riding toward Big Valley, I found Bart Cavanaugh's camp in the wilderness and hogtied all the drunk outlaws. When my own horse kept acting up and refusing to cooperate, I gave up on it, loaded Bart and his crew onto their own horses, and prepared to transport them only for a horse to kick me to death.
I kept continuing my journey toward Big Valley, hoping there wouldn't be such encounters on my way again because I didn't want to kill innocent NPCs for nothing, though I didn't kill that hunter for nothing; he was too aggressive.
It seemed like I was closer to the spot where I could find the bounty. He was wanted dead or alive, and I would just kill him if he was someone like the Skinner Brothers, but I was planning to take him alive and bring him back with me if he was open to collaborate.
I started walking around, taking my lasso out, and I noticed a small camp in the middle of the forest, in the wilderness, with about two pairs of horses but not quite as many people around.
It seemed like the men in the camp were completely drunk, and I needed to locate my target among them. I hogtied one of them, hoping it would be quieter, but there was another one close by who saw me doing it.
It turned out not to be my main target, but this was the one I just hogtied right now while his fellows started shooting at me to try to stop me from taking their pal away.
Then I hogtied another man, the third one of the camp, just as I noticed a fourth one continued to shoot at me. I decided not to kill any of them, just hogtie them and take my initial target with me away.
After hogtied this one, I hogtied the last one as well. Everyone was hogtied and couldn't attack me anymore. I then decided to play it in a different way, trying to stow them on their horses backs and spook the horses to get them out of there, but one of the horses kicked me when I went closer.
So, I just left them there and carried Bart Cavanaugh on my shoulder while waiting for my horse to come closer, intending to take him to the jail in Strawberry and leave the others behind.
When my horse came closer, I started to run toward it to stow the man, but my horse started playing with me and just kept walking backward. I didn't know what happened to my horse.
Leaving the man behind, I jumped on my horse first to calm it down, then tried to load the man onto the horse's back, but my horse still kept doing the same thing.
The bounty had been warning me about his group, mentioning I would be a dead man if anything happened to him. I really didn't know why my horse was acting this way; it just wouldn't let me get closer, even though it came when I whistled.
I planned to hitch my horse to a tree, but the horse wasn't okay with getting hitched either and walked away before I could secure him.
I guessed the horse got spooked hearing those gunshots, so I decided to take a moment to stop and calm him down because I wasn't carrying that body on my shoulder all the way to Strawberry.
While I was trying to calm my horse down, Bart kept shouting for someone to help him, but no one else was around, and his whole crew was tied up anyway.
I was kind of fed up with my horse because it kept pulling the same stunt, so I gave up on him and started running back toward their camp. Upon getting close to one of their horses, I loaded Bart onto it, and planned to take that horse with me.
I noticed I could actually store the other men on the remaining horses too, so I started loading the other captives onto the horses from the side so I wouldn't get kicked away. And man, one of the other horses suddenly kicked me to death.
Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
