With the bank job on hold, a bounty poster for Elias Green led a search into the Great Plains. After a brief distraction stealing a traveler's horse, the investigation shifted into Skinner territory, revealing a brutalized campsite before distant screams directed the path toward a hostile gang ambush.
I returned to Blackwater since the primary bank job was still completely on hold, and I decided to keep it waiting indefinitely after becoming far more interested in a local bounty hunting job instead.
Upon stepping inside the local police department office, I located a bounty poster targeting a man named Elias Green, a known member of the brutal Skinner Brothers gang, which promised a solid ninety-dollar reward for his capture.
I began riding out toward the vast Great Plains area because the details on the bounty poster indicated that Green had recently been spotted roaming around that specific region, and after reaching the vicinity, I noticed a plume of smoke rising from a campsite.
I approached the camp cautiously, but I quickly realized the man resting there was just an ordinary traveler passing the time, though I took such a strong liking to his horse that I decided to steal it on the spot.
After riding across the plains on the stolen mount for a while, I finally managed to establish a solid bond with the animal, taking a brief moment to admire the look of the beautiful horse in the open sunlight.
I eventually switched back to my original horse before riding closer to the designated bounty zone, where I mistook an innocent passerby for Green before realizing my mistake.
I maintained a highly careful approach as I moved deeper into the wilderness until I stumbled upon a completely soulless camp filled with gruesome dead bodies, including one poor soul who had been completely skinned and another who was badly burned.
My primary target was nowhere to be found among the ruins of the camp, forcing me to search even deeper into the dangerous Skinner territory until the eerie quiet was shattered by the sound of loud screaming nearby.
I sprinted as fast as possible toward the source of the noise in hopes of saving whoever was crying out to survive, ultimately discovering the hostile gang members alongside Green himself actively brutalizing another group of innocent travelers.
Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
