If there is a city that hooked me from the first moment I met it that is Puerto la Cruz, it is a coastal town, which since its founding in 1594 has always marked the difference with the rest of the Venezuelan cities, this is a space that was born and still continues to look towards the Caribbean, the oil industry, tourism and ports have made it a space where you can constantly find people from different parts of the country, and even from different parts of the world. Incredibly, it is not the capital of the state, but due to the existing conurbation with its neighbors, today it is part of a large metropolitan area, which according to many studies exceeds one million inhabitants.

Caminando por el Paseo de la Cruz y el Mar
Si existe una ciudad que me enganchó desde el primer momento en que la conocí esa es Puerto la Cruz, se trata de una población costera, la cual desde su fundación en el año 1594 siempre ha marcado la diferencia con el resto de las ciudades venezolanas, este es un espacio que nació y aún continúa mirando hacia el caribe, la industria petrolera, el turismo y los puertos la han convertido en un espacio en donde constantemente se puede encontrar a personas de distintas partes del país, e incluso de diferentes lugares del mundo. Increíblemente, no es la capital del estado, pero debido a la conurbación existente con sus vecinas, hoy en día forma parte de una gran área metropolitana, la cual según muchos estudios supera el millón de habitantes.

Like every city, Puerto La Cruz also has those spaces that are iconic, places where regionalisms are exalted, differences are marked and at the same time ideal environments are created for meeting and sharing city life. Obviously, the ideal area to enjoy in the company of family and friends is in front of the sea, along the coast of Pozuelos Bay, a natural space characterized by its tropical palm trees, its perennial breeze and a summer climate that dominates 365 days a year.
Como toda ciudad, Puerto la cruz también cuenta con esos espacios que son icónicos, lugares en donde se exaltan los regionalismos, se marcan diferencias y al mismo tiempo se crean ambientes ideales para el encuentro y el compartir citadino. Obviamente, el área ideal para disfrutar sanamente en compañía de familiares y amigos es frente al mar, junto a la costa de la Bahía de Pozuelos, un espacio natural que se caracteriza por sus palmeras tropicales, su brisa perenne y un clima veraniego que domina los 365 días del año.
There are 10 km that covers this incredible space dedicated to culture, art and recreation, I was always curious to know this magical place and to tell the truth when I set foot on the pavement I could feel that pleasant feeling of having fulfilled a dream, but now began a new cycle, which had as its main objective to know every corner of this place, enjoy the most of their environment and discover the secrets hidden in this wonder of the East.
Son 10 km que abarca este increíble espacio dedicado, a la cultura, el arte y la recreación, siempre tuve la curiosidad de conocer este mágico lugar y a decir verdad cuando puse un pie sobre su pavimento pude sentir esa grata sensación de haber cumplido un sueño, pero ahora comenzaba un nuevo ciclo, el cual tenía como objetivo principal conocer cada Rincón de este lugar, disfrutar al máximo su ambiente y descubrir los secretos que esconde esta maravilla de Oriente.
It is at one of its ends we can find a small dock, from where small boats sail to the beautiful beaches of Mochima National Park, crossing the avenue we will find numerous hotels of various categories, multiple businesses and a variety of franchises that offer their transportation services, food and beverages, which we can deduce that this is a purely commercial space, which is adapted to the needs of all visitors, where we can find everything necessary to make our journey a pleasant and unforgettable experience.
Es de uno de sus extremos podemos encontrar un pequeño atracadero, desde donde zarpan pequeñas embarcaciones hasta las hermosas playas del Parque Nacional Mochima, cruzando la avenida hallaremos numerosos hoteles de diversas categorías, múltiples negocios y una gran variedad de franquicias que ofrecen sus servicios de transporte, comidas y bebidas, con lo cual podemos deducir que se trata de un espacio netamente comercial, el cual se adapta a las necesidades de todos los visitantes, en donde podremos encontrar todo lo necesario para hacer de nuestro recorrido una experiencia placentera e inolvidable.
The cross that is located in the Central Plaza of this monumental promenade has become over time an unmistakable symbol of modern Puerto de la Cruz, a city that despite the economic difficulties that the country has gone through continues to bet on the future, continues to rely on its strengths to generate greater development, which is reflected in the quality of life of its people and at the same time bets to continue being the tourist bridge par excellence that connects all of Venezuela with the wonders of the east, the beautiful beaches of the island territories and the majesty of the plains landscapes that are just a few kilometers away.
La cruz que se ubica en la Plaza Central de este Monumental paseo se ha convertido con el pasar del tiempo en un símbolo inequívoco de la Puerto de la Cruz moderna, una ciudad que a pesar de las dificultades económicas que ha atravesado el país sigue apostando hacia el futuro, sigue apoyándose en sus fortalezas para generar un mayor desarrollo, el cual se vea reflejado en la calidad de vida de su pueblo y al mismo tiempo apuesta por seguir siendo ese puente turístico por excelencia te conecta a toda Venezuela con las maravillas del oriente, las hermosas playas de los territorios insulares y la majestuosidad de los paisajes llaneros que se encuentran a pocos kilómetros de distancia.

Visitar el oriente venezolano es una experiencia que vale la pena vivir, pero pasar algún tiempo conociendo los secretos de Puerto la Cruz y disfrutando del ambiente placentero que nos regala el Paseo de la Cruz y el Mar, es un viaje que todo venezolano debería realizar y es una parada muy buena para que todos los turistas extranjeros conozcan un poquito de ese sentir oriental y esa visión de futuro que emana desde estas regiones cálidas, sonrientes, amables y bellas, en donde la naturaleza y la ciudad se combinan para formar escenarios verdaderamente lindos.
