Do you think it is a natural part of getting older to have muscle aches for no apparent reason?
It seems bizarre to me, but maybe that's just how it goes for everyone.
I'm 51. (My pic is fairly recent, but I look younger than I am.) I walk the dog in nature and do yoga every day, and I think eat a pretty healthy diet (maybe a little too much red meat). I have maybe 10 servings of alcohol in a typical month. I don't smoke and get enough sleep. Take multivitamins and probiotics each day. Definitely no stress. So on the whole, I think I'm darned healthy.
Yet I notice more and more that my muscles ache even when I haven't done anything but wake up. Or maybe I've been watching videos for an hour, then go to move and notice again that it hurts to do so. I get a professional massage and the muscles stop aching, but then a day later I feel like I need a massage again.
Any ideas?
Is this just aging, and it happens no matter what you do, or don't do?
