Today I have a joyful day, my mother was able to get in touch. She still has to travel very far from home to do this, but at least now there is no risk that she will meet the Nazis. However, the roads are still dangerous, still not completely cleared of mines.
The day before yesterday, my mother went for food for animals, since it was no longer possible to pull longer, and the shell caught on the wheel. The tire was completely torn and the disc was almost completely destroyed, now it needs repair. But she's okay, and that's the main thing.
It's still hard to write anything abstract in a situation like this, but it's time to start trying, now everyone I care about is relatively safe. Of course, we are not talking about complete security, unfortunately, but we have to work with what we have.
Now there seem to be fewer air raid alerts and I've started getting out again, at least for short walks with my dog. Today we found these cute statues, and she also found a friend who looks like a husky. No matter how hard I tried to photograph them together, it turned out that someone always left only their tail in the frame.
It is still not clear whether we will move or not. This suspended state is very tired, I want something to become completely clear at last. But so far we can’t count on it, which means we are waiting and hoping :)
