Today we have lots of ways to define beauty. Some find beauty according to their appearances, others by intelligence and manners, but a few sees it from within. These people call it inner beauty. But I'm wondering, does it apply to everybody?

How would you want to define beauty? Have you met beautiful people?

How are you all doing my fellow Steemians! Imawreader here! I would like to refuel you with another artwork and a quote from my A Daily Dose series following my previous post A Daily Dose #53: Do You Deserve Me at My Best?

β€œSometimes people are beautiful. Not in looks. Not in what they say. Just in what they are.” - Markus Zusak

I grew up wondering why people do not look alike and why everyone wanted to be beautiful. It is a mystery to me, a phenomenon that anyone desires to be. From my observations, jealousy influences others so much that they could even commit offensive moves to someone who made them jealous. It's so creepy and it is a cruel world.

You're also a wonder to me. Why do you believe that people are beautiful? They commit sins just to satisfy themselves. They are not satisfied with what they have. They even undervalue themselves making them incapable to take on decisions efficiently. So tell me, why?

There you are acting strange again, answering me back with a smile. How nice!? How many times are you going to tell me that they are beautiful? I know that there's much more I know nothing about. Somehow, there's this desire inside that is wanting me to figure it myself. I wanted to be enlightened why believing that people are beautiful makes you mature enough. You make me crazy with this stuffs. It is like I am solving a case trying to figure out who is the criminal.

Now that I mentioned it. I started having trust issues after that day back in primary school. Do you still remember it? I made you a scarf because winter is coming. I exerted effort because I wanted to get close to you. You seemed trustworthy and knows lots of things. One that I imagined having a long conversation with. So I asked grandma to teach me how to make one. I've spent days working hard for it. It's the first I did something like that for somebody. You could have seen how it looked like if it wasn't stolen and I can't even think who would do it. I ended up not saying it to everybody because it is supposedly a surprise. So much for a scarf.

As days go by, I started despising everyone else trying to ignore everybody because I never imagined something like that could happen to me. I know it's just a scarf but it meant more than that. It was my first time and I was really happy making it. I was excited imagining how you would look like receiving it from me. But that went just an imagination. It didn't happen. Well, that is all in the past. I have already forgiven whoever stole it.

Looking at you now you haven't change. We have been close together without the help of that scarf for ten years already and you still believe people are beautiful. I don't know if you have realized that I don't really believe others as you are. You're the only one whom I talk with and you even answer in my place because you know how ignorant am I. I only believe you and whatever you will say because I trust you. It don't worry me because I know how you sound when you are lying.

You always care for everyone even though some dislikes you. You know it and you can't help but to do your job. You said a leader is someone who nurtures and support its members. You take all the burden and show everyone nothing but assurance. You're giving them resolutions although they don't need it. It is how you feel towards them. You said although most of them don't appreciate your help, you appreciate them.

So people are beautiful...hey! I think I just found the reason why!

We say that there are beautiful and ugly people, but how do we really define them?
