Scaring the Bill Man, A Bit of Fun & A Lot of Snoozing

Magandang buhay!

A rainy Friday on our side of the world. It started around 3 am and lingered throughout the day. The atmosphere was mostly gray and cold, keeping us indoors. Oh well, until the LilGuy did something quite unexpected.

I was having my snack at around 10:30 am with Yongi on my lap when the hubby's head appeared by the window, saying he noticed the bill man ^{(the guy who reads electric meters on all of the houses around here)} was coming, and I should wait for him so I'd take the printed receipt. A couple of minutes later, I heard a knock. So I left my cup on the table and the LilGuy on the chair, and headed to the door. Unbeknownst to me, he jumped out discreetly and followed me. The moment I opened the screen door, he ran outside, so quick that he frightened the bill man. LOL!

Well, he didn't howl (bark) or anything, but he was too fast to get out of the door and then returned in a flash to where the bill man was standing. The poor man may have thought my puppy would bite him, so he jumped here and there, trying to dodge the LilGuy. He then handed me the bill and left like a ghost was after him😂

And so, even though it wasn't in the day's plan and it was drizzling, we ended up spending some time outside for my little rascal to check his territories. He was sniffing here and there, as usual.

He disappeared for a wee while, and I found him all wet and dirty on the muddy driveway, shaking his tiny body as if he had just had a shower. That explains the blurry pic below. My apologies.
