Magandang buhay💚
It's the new week, yay! Excited much to how the day unfolds (drafting this early in the morning, thanks to the LilGuy who woke me up from a bad dream at 4 am, licking my face—his way of saying he could not lift the thick blanket).
He crawled under and curled up beside me for a short while, then found his way out of the quilt, jumped to the floor and splooted on the rags as if saying he wanted me to watch over him.
Naughty lil boy!😅
I should be used to it by now as he often does that, but I still get surprised each time, finding it amusing and laughing on some mornings. He sure knows how to make his mom happy😉
Anyway, we had a gorgeous guest yesterday evening at the shop. I went there to receive some deliveries (Dad was out all day) and noticed it on the chiller's door.
I was tempted to poke it to see its underside, but a thought and an image flashed in my mind. Maybe it was resting so I let it be. It was still there when I left.
It's a member of the grass moth family, Google Lens says, although GL could make mistakes, so this might not be an accurate identification. But yeah, it is obviously a moth, a beautiful one too.
It always fascinates me to see tiny creatures such as this upclose. The intricate patterns and designs on the body and wings make me gasp in awe (thank goodness they are still visible even with my phone camera's inherent limitation).
There truly is beauty around us when we pause long enough to notice. I could have easily missed this little one, but somehow, my eyes landed on it, perhaps to remind me to slow down more often.
I will try to do just that today and hopefully every day.
