Hi Hive,
A little while ago I introduced Pixa, the pixel-art sibling of Hive. Today I have a simple ask: we’re looking for witnesses and community members.
This video is creepy, it's because of Halloween coming soon.
🛠️ Witnesses wanted
Pixa has 21 witness seats, and 8 are producing blocks today. If you’ve run a Hive node before, you’ll feel right at home. It’s the same hived lineage (1.28.7) with a few tweaks for art.
Hardware: 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB disk
Setup: two containers
Guide: pixa.org/witness, one command at a time
More independent witnesses means a stronger chain that doesn’t depend on any single team, including ours.
🎨 Community members wanted too
You don’t need a server to help:
Artists: post pixel art, or turn a photo into pixel art with the built-in converter
Curators: vote for work you like. Curation is rewarded.
Helpers: welcome newcomers and answer questions
Everyone: voting for witnesses is free and shapes who runs the chain
👋 A few friends from Hive
I’d love to hear from some people who’ve made this ecosystem what it is:
No pressure, just an open door. 🙂
