Speaking about Nobel Prize, I can't help but to think life seems to be unfair. Or should I say, life is unfair (not with a negative tone, but just thinking out loud, in a funny way).
During my last trip to upnorth with my siblings without the children and the husband, my boys kept telling me daddy's egg cheese sandwich the best, daddy's this, and daddy's that were so interesting, etc. Daddy's stir fry vegetables very yummy. Daddy's cheese toast super delicious, like the best chef ever.

He may not have won any real Nobel Prize, but he definitely won many prizes from the boys. He is indeed their hero and he lives in their heart. I wasn't at home for 5 days but he took care of the home and family well. The children really adore him. From the way he peels potatoes to how he spread butter and mayonnaise on their egg cheese sandwich, every thing he does catches the boys' attention. That's why I said life is unfair. Because I make breakfast for the boys every other normal days but no attention given to me. Lol... I am not having self-pity here but I think this big difference is quite amusing. The difference between a father and a mother.
Anyway, I totally agree when the boys remarked that their daddy can win Masterchefs. Once, he took over the kitchen to make dinner for us.
He made the best chicken chop!!!
I wasn't sure how, but even his side dishes of potatoes and carrots and broccoli were so, so, yummy. Simple ingredients but he put so much time and hearts and love into them. One thing I noticed was he enjoyed the process of cooking whereas me, always rush rush cook.

If there is an award of Nobel Prize of Chicken Chop, here it is. I truly enjoyed every of my mouthfuls. So so delicious.
I secretly wish he cooks everyday, I don't mind to clean the kitchen. Hehe.
