When the fields of Rupnagar village became green with rainwater, everyone thought the problem was over. But the village chief, Bishambhar Babu, was a very greedy and arrogant man. He saw that many people were coming from the city to see the village's greenery and nature. Instead of feeling relieved, he came up with a new idea. He planned to cut down the village's greenery to build a large brick kiln there.

When the villagers learned about this, they became very frightened and worried. Where would the green birds of the village go if the black smoke of the carbon and the destruction of the trees came? The farmers again went to Diya.At that time, Diya was sitting by the river, humming a tune. Listening to the villagers' words, her eyes became calm but determined. At that dusk, when Bishambhar Babu would come with a group of hired goons to cut the trees, only little Diya stood up in front of the forest. She held a single flute in her hand.

Bishambhar Babu laughed and said, "Hey little girl, will you obstruct my work?"Without feeling any fear, Diya began to play her flute and sing her poem:
"If the earth loses its dreams, with the black smoke,
How will people survive beside the desert? The green leaves are the home of life, birds sing songs,Do you want to buy human life by cutting the trees?"

Diya's tune and words floated in the air. At that moment, a miraculous event occurred. Thousands of birds gathered from within the forest and began to swirl above Bishambhar Babu and his goons. The leaves of the trees started to rustle in such a way that it seemed as if the forest was roaring in its own colors.Bishambhar Babu was astonished by the beauty of this vast nature and the pure truth of Diya’s poem. It didn’t take him long to realize that if nature was destroyed, there would be no existence for him either. He understood his mistake and canceled all plans for cutting the forest.

From then on, every tree, bird, and person in Rupnagar village took refuge in Diya's poetry. Diya became the real-life green fairy of the village.
