After one week of taking care Jansen who was unwell due to internal complications, I was feeling super tired and laid back. And oh, by the way, today he started eating and I couldn't be happier.
Yesterday was a totally laid back day. As in I felt like just lying on the couch and sleep. But that ain't a mom's life. You still had to get on your feet and perform wonders to home. I do think it is a privilege — you become the super manager of home. Whether it falls or stands, depends on you. How honorable is your job!!! =)
Okay, totally laid back and lazy to think of what to cook, I recalled the canned food I had in my food cabinet. I kept it there for sometimes because I was trying to avoid canned food. But yesterday was the perfect day to use it to ease my exhaustion.
Alberico Luncheon Meat!
This came all the way from Spain, so it must be good. My mother-in-law bought it from Singapore and passed to us. So in order to healthify it abit, I cooked it with eggs. Lol... So called healthify, haha. (me rolling eyes on myself)
Every meal had to come with a vegetable, it was stir fry lettuce (yao mak in kantonis) in garlic oil, super simple but extraordinarily delicious. The children love this dish, they called it 'crunchy vege' crunch crunch crunch!!!
Laid-Back Jade's Cooking
What is your opinion on canned food? Do you eat them? Do you avoid them 100%? My parents advised me not to eat them, or at least cut down alot.
