Today when I am outside walking around, I saw this stall selling Lemang. This kind of dish only appears after Muslim Fasting Month.
For those who don't know what Lemang is, it is a Minang traditional food made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, and salt, it is cooked in a hollowed bamboo tube coated with banana leaves in order to prevent the rice from sticking to the bamboo.
This stall cooks it in the metal drum.
Lemang is best to enjoy by eating it with chicken rendang. After buying the Lemang, I went to another Mamak restaurant to buy chicken rendang.
