Shout out to all hive #communities.
Sometimes I hear people say that #Hive is just about making money, or that it is an easy way to earn online. Honestly, I do not see it that way. There are different kinds of people on Hive, and I believe we all have different reasons for being here.
For some people, the payout is a big motivation. And there is nothing wrong with that. When you put your time, energy and creativity into something, it is only natural to appreciate being rewarded for your effort. The payout can encourage you to keep creating and doing more.
For others, it is more about passion. We have people who love writing, #crafting, #photography, cooking, #gaming, music and so many other niches. They enjoy what they do and are happy to share it with others, even when the reward is not their first thought.
But I also believe that passion and rewards can go together. You can genuinely love what you do and still be motivated by the possibility of earning from it.
For me, Hive has shown me that you cannot just come here, make one post and expect everything to happen. You have to put in effort. You have to create, engage, learn, improve and, most importantly, keep showing up.
Sometimes you can spend hours working on something, only to get a result that is not what you expected. There are also days when you may not even feel motivated to create. But you still have to find a way to keep going.
That is why I don't believe Hive is for lazy people.
Whether you are here because of the payout, because of your passion, because you love the community, or because of all these reasons together, you still have to put in the work.
Hive may reward you, but you have to give something first.
Different people. Different motivations. Different niches.
But one thing remains the same, that Hive is not for the lazy.
