Here's my entry for BeerSaturday 374 with a dark beer brewed by Wills, a Montreal microbrewery, the Brown Ale. It's the first time I've mentioned this brewery. It's not far from where I live, but I've never had the chance to go there yet. I hope to do so by the end of the summer.

Here is the map of Quebec where I can show you precisely the location of the brewery. As I said in the introduction, Wills is a Montreal microbrewery located in the Mile-End district at 6729 Avenue de l'Esplanade.

The [Wills] brewery (https://www.wills.beer/fr) was founded by brothers Ethan and Alex Wills in 2022. In fact, the confinement caused by the COVID allowed them to define their dream project: a microbrewery to turn it into a convivial space for the neighborhood. And so they found themselves in Mile End, where the Brasserie du Vieux-Montréal used to be. Ethan, owner of the excellent restaurant Lawrence (very good restaurant), and Alex, a former oil industry veteran, have teamed up to make this corner of Mile-End a convivial place, especially in summer with the terrace.
La brasserie Wills a été fondée par les frères Ethan et Alex Wills en 2022. En effet, le confinement dû à la COVID leur a permis de définir le projet de rêve : une microbrasserie pour en faire un espace convivial pour le quartier. Ils se sont ainsi dans le Mile-End là ou était avant la Brasserie du Vieux-Montréal. Ethan, propriétaire d'un très bon restaurant le Lawrence et Alex ancien de l'industrie pétrolière sont associés pour rendre ce coin du Mile-End convivial, surtout l'été avec la terrassse.
The Brown Ale is an American-style brown ale with 6% alcohol. In the glass, this strong beer has a dark color with a beautiful brown head. To the taste, we have a nice effervescence and then a coffee taste with a slight bitterness. I really enjoyed this beer, as I'm usually disappointed with microbrewery stouts. It's the second after l'Azote de Menaud (see BeerSaturday 317 - Azote (Menaud)).
La Brown Ale est est une bière brune de style américaine avec 6% d'alcool. Dans le verre, cette bière forte a une couleur sombre avec une belle mousse brune. Au gout, nous avons une belle effervescence puis un gout de café avec une légère amertume. J'ai beaucoup apprécié cette bière car généralement avec les stouts de microbrasseries je suis souvent déçu. C'est la deuxième après l'Azote de Menaud (voir BeerSaturday 317 - Azote (Menaud)).
