It was last Tuesday when my hometown friend came to KL to attend an orientation for her upcoming course and also to survey a neighbourhood for a place to rent for her upcoming stay.

She asked me if I was free to meet up and hang out at this neighbourhood called Sri Hartamas. I am not familiar with this place but I said yes to her. However, because there was no one to look after my youngest son, I brought him along with me.

It has been a tiring morning with him awake since 6am to accompany me send his brother to school so he actually dozed off on our way there. I tried to transfer him to the stroller discreetly without waking him up but he did not continue his nap and woke up.

Thank God he was quite happy when we arrive at our brunch place, Quack. My friend picked this place because they serve smoothie bowl which is yogurt with fruits.

You can patronize this eatery at:
60 Jalan Sri Hartamas 1, Plaza Damas, Lot K-0-8B (Ground Floor), Dorchester Service Apartment, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

The whole place has an open air concept which I like. It has ample natural sunlight and the place's layout it rather simple.

Here is the menu of the place.

So my friend ordered her acai Berry bowl. It is served with some fruits and granola and dessicated coconut. Sounds all healthy, right?

I ordered a Buttermilk pancake for myself and son. It is served with maple syrup and dusted with icing sugar. This has got to be the most fluffy pancakes I have eaten. The son enjoyed it a lot!

At first my son was playing with the table number until I felt he was knocking it too hard against the table that I decided to take out his number blocks for him when my friend went surveying this area for the various condominiums around it.

Can you tell he was really enjoying and admiring his toy blocks?? He just looks so pleased with them.

When my friend finally got back, we took a photo at this beautiful little garden in their walkway.

Well this area does look like a not bad place to reside. Not sure if my friend will finally decide to rent a place here or not. If she does, then I can come back to Quack for more food! Hahaha!
