Also, North Idaho needs to get it together. Seriously, we started getting snow in September for goodness sake and now we have nothing the week of Christmas. What's going in?!

I'm still undecided about what I'll be baking today for my family but some of my favorites this time of year are the simple treats. I keep thinking of these cute little maple leaf cookies and thinking they'd be really fun as Christmas trees or gingerbread men instead of leaves.
