I couldn’t focus on anything, I was always thinking about the next time I could get high. I was so happy to leave the house thinking it would ease my then problems but instead it became worst. I felt like I had no control over myself and that no one cared about me. I was so addicted that I would smoke up to ten joints a day. Even after work, I would go home and smoke again because it made me feel good. I would spend more time on the computer and think about things that weren’t even important.

I started to get nervous because my grades were dropping and I had no motivation to do anything. I was so excited to go out and having fun with my friends. But when I got there, I just felt like something was wrong. The night went by smoothly, but the next day was a different story. My phone kept buzzing with people’s messages that they were looking forward to see me again.
