No parking no parking no parking did you know it's illegal to block your own driveway by parking in front of it on the street? Something about access, presumably for emergency cars. My right ear is bugging me. Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment and (just a checkup, like a regular annual health screening type checkup, FYI) my doctor said my ears had a lot of wax in them. So last night I used some ear wax softener drops we already had and I successfully got a large chunk of wax out of my left ear, but couldn't get much of anything out of my right ear. A couple weeks ago, my right ear had been bugging me after I went swimming, but that had already resolved before my doctor visit yesterday. But after using the softener and the flushy-outy tool, the pain was back. So I think my ear is quite blocked and that the water from swimming had maybe swelled the wax (I read about that, it's a thing), and the wax had been pressing against my ear drum, causing pain. And now that I've tried to flush it out, maybe somehow it caused it to press against my ear drum again? I think I will try the softeners again later today (I already tried them again this morning because my ear was bugging me enough to impact my sleep) and try flushing out my ear again. And maybe I'll do this daily for a few days, but if I still haven't gotten much of anything out by Friday, then I'll make a follow up appointment and have them do it with their professional lavage thing.
