Has anyone heard about noodle burger? doesn’t it sounds crazy? I thought it was absolutely necessary to re-create this weird burger using Indomie (Indonesian most popular instant noodle) as buns.
This recipe is fairly so simple!
What you’ll need? 👇👇
For the buns:
- 1 pack of Indomie
- 1 egg
For the burger filling:
- 1 beef burger patty
- Onions
- Lettuce
- Few slices of cucumber
- Few slices of tomato
- Cheese
- Condiments (ketchup, mayo, mustard)
Steps;
Start with boiling water to cook the noodle without flavour packs.
When the noodle is ready, strain them to throw out all the water, and then, add all the flavours pack. Mix them well.
Let it cool down, for a bit/set aside.
While the noodle is being cool down, get ready the patty!
You can neither grill it or whatever way you prefer. I did fry them, lol was too lazy to go out to the back yard to turn on the grill, beside I only made one patty anyways.
And...while waiting for the patty to cook, chopped/slice some onions!
I did fry my onions until little bit soft. You don’t have to though, but I like it that way.
and yey....
The noodle must be cool down by now!
Crack in an egg, and mix them well.
Next...
Devide the noodle into 2 part.
Fry the noodle mixture in a pan and try to shape them round as a buns.
You don’t want to touch/flip it up until its dry, browned and crispy.
Don’t forget! you have to fry them both side. And make sure its cook, you don’t want to eat raw egg mixture, don’t you?! 🤔😉
So, try to cook it in a low heat to prevent burn noodle buns.
Repeat the previous step for the other Indomie bun.
Bwalaa...time to prepare the burger, slice some cucumber and tomato...
lettuce...
And! Assemble your burger to your liking! with any sauce you’re preferred, mayo, kechup, mustard or even hot sauce! 😁😍
