Hello Foodies! Our city is now under a Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine due to a spike in Covid-19 cases. This despite the government's efforts at vaccination which is on full roll-out. That means more time spent at home as movements are restricted. But not in our kitchen! I think this is the best time to brush up on my coffee making skills and try this easy diy special coffee.
This is what this coffee looks like if done correctly. The photo below is taken from Pixabay and will be our goal and mission in this exercise. Can we really make this coffee ourselves? Is it that difficult to do?
Let us begin.
2tbsp coffee granules
2tbsp sugar
2tbsp hot water
200ml milk
4-5 pcs ice cubes
Pour coffee, hot water and sugar in a bowl.
Whisk together or use a hand mixer until it thickens and becomes foamy.
Pour ice and cold milk in a glass and top with the coffee foam by scooping it with an ordinary spoon. And voila!
How did I do? Was I able to make the coffee just like the model above? If you ask me, I would say, "Definitely yes!"
