Hola mi gente bella, espero que la estén pasando bien en este domingo, un día que por lo general lo convertimos en algo especial haciendo cualquier actividad que nos guste. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la experiencia vivida al lado de la familia y algunos buenos amigos.

Hello my beautiful people, I hope you are having a good time this Sunday, a day that we usually turn into something special doing any activity we like. Today I want to share with you the experience I had with my family and some good friends.

Mi esposo tenía un tiempo queriendo ir a casa de nuestra querida Rosita, de ella les he hablado bastante en otros post, lo más relevante es que hace unos pocos meses perdió a su esposo a quien cuidó con mucho amor, ahora vive con su hijo, ella tiene ciertas limitaciones por una caída que sufrió hace un tiempo y por no tener recursos no pudo resolver su lesión, es por esto que ahora es necesario usar esa silla de rueda. Una de las cosas que admiro de esta valiente señora es su actitud, a veces siento que aunque el mundo se le cae en pedazos ella siempre mantiene una postura de optimismo y es algo que aprecio mucho de su personalidad. Es muy agradable y agradecida al mismo tiempo, es una mujer que confía mucho en Dios y todas las cosas que recibe las ve como bendiciones de él.

My husband had been wanting to go to our dear Rosita's house for a while, I have told you a lot about her in other posts, the most relevant thing is that a few months ago she lost her husband whom she took care of with a lot of love, now she lives with her son, she has certain limitations due to a fall she suffered some time ago and because she had no resources she could not solve her injury, that is why now it is necessary to use that wheelchair. One of the things I admire about this brave lady is her attitude, sometimes I feel that even though the world is falling apart she always maintains a posture of optimism and it is something I appreciate a lot about her personality. She is very pleasant and grateful at the same time, she is a woman who trusts God a lot and all the things she receives she sees as blessings from him.

Hoy logramos concretar la visita para ir a revisarles unos aires acondicionados que estaban sin funcionar, invitamos a algunos amigos con la idea de hacerle algo de compañía y compartir un cacao caliente con pan, para merendar. Al llegar al sitio que queda como a 4 cuadras de nuestro hogar, me sentí como en otro lugar, sentía que había salido de la ciudad por lo bonito que es, pues como saben disfruto mucho de la naturaleza, de los frondosos y del verde de los árboles, de los colores intensos de las flores y de tantas cosas que solo la creación es capaz de hacerme sentir.

Today we managed to arrange a visit to go to check some air conditioners that were not working, we invited some friends with the idea of keeping her company and sharing a hot cocoa with bread for a snack. Arriving at the site that is about 4 blocks from our home, I felt like in another place, I felt I had left the city because of how beautiful it is, because as you know I enjoy nature, the lush and green trees, the intense colors of the flowers and so many things that only creation is able to make me feel.

No perdí la oportunidad de hacer varias fotos, aprovechando que la tarde estaba muy bonita, es algo que me apasiona y me llena de mucha emoción. Tomé muchas fotografias las cuales quiero mostrarles para que aprecien la belleza que nos brindan estos espacios que pueden transformar nuestros momentos en atesorados recuerdos. Mi sobrina quien pasó la tarde con nosotros también pudo disfrutar de tomar otras fotos, en la que logró capturar una hermosa mariposa blanca, se dirigió a mí muy feliz por lo que había logrado.

I did not miss the opportunity to take several photos, taking advantage of the beautiful afternoon, it is something that I love and fills me with great emotion. I took many pictures which I want to show you so that you can appreciate the beauty that these spaces offer us, which can transform our moments into treasured memories. My niece who spent the afternoon with us was also able to enjoy taking other pictures, in which she managed to capture a beautiful white butterfly, she came to me very happy for what she had achieved.

Mi esposo en compañía de 2 amigos lograron poner a funcionar el aire de Rosita, mientras nosotras las mujeres conversábamos de todo un poco. También fuimos a la parte trasera de la casa y recogimos muchas guayabas y algunas parchitas, las cuales compartimos entre los que estábamos de visita.

My husband and 2 friends managed to get Rosita's air to work, while we women talked about everything. We also went to the back of the house and picked a lot of guavas and some parchitas, which we shared among those of us who were visiting.

Llegó la hora de la merienda, creo que fue uno de los momentos más agradables, pues logramos estar todos juntos, recibí muchos elogios por el buen sabor del cacao y parecíamos niños pequeños mojando el pan con el rico cacao caliente. Rosita fue una de las primeras en hacerlo, me sentí muy alegre de verla a ella tan contenta con nuestra visita y dispuesta para tomarse las respectivas fotos. Creo que este domingo fue especial para cada uno de nosotros, porque a veces vamos con la idea de acompañar y animar a otros y terminamos nosotros disfrutando de la ocasión.

It was time for the snack, I think it was one of the most pleasant moments, because we were all together, I received many compliments for the good taste of the cocoa and we looked like little children dipping the bread with the delicious hot cocoa. Rosita was one of the first to do it, I was very happy to see her so happy with our visit and willing to take the respective photos. I think this Sunday was special for each one of us, because sometimes we go with the idea of accompanying and encouraging others and we end up enjoying the occasion ourselves.

Eso lo podemos percibir una vez que estamos viendo las fotos, allí quedan congeladas las sonrisas, el alivio y la tranquilidad que podemos reflejar cuando hacemos cosas diferentes, en la que ofrecemos una mano ayuda pero también somos recompensados de manera instantánea por nuestra buena acción. No quiero pasar por alto la exquisita mermelada de guayaba que la anfitriona de la casa nos ofreció, mi esposo es adicto al dulce y por aquí lo vemos repartiendo el complemento de la merienda.

We can perceive that once we are looking at the photos, there are frozen smiles, relief and tranquility that we can reflect when we do different things, in which we offer a helping hand but we are also rewarded instantly for our good deed. I do not want to overlook the exquisite guava jam that the hostess of the house offered us, my husband is addicted to the sweet and here we see him handing out the complement of the snack.

Hoy ví a mi esposo sonreír muchas veces, me hizo imaginar por un momento que había escapado de la realidad de haber perdido a su padre recientemente, al igual que a Rosa, que por haber perdido a su compañero de vida por 52 años debe sentirse muy sola y en ocasiones afligida. Creo que este hermoso lugar, entre verdes y colores no sirvió de terapia a cada uno de nosotros, en mi caso me sentí libre de tantas preocupaciones del día a día, me olvidé de mis dolores constantes en mi cuerpo y me deje envolver por el agradable ambiente.

Today I saw my husband smile many times, it made me imagine for a moment that he had escaped from the reality of having lost his father recently, as well as Rosa, who for having lost her life partner for 52 years must feel very lonely and sometimes saddened. I believe that this beautiful place, among greenery and colors, served as therapy for each one of us, in my case I felt free of so many day to day worries, I forgot about my constant pains in my body and I let myself be enveloped by the pleasant environment.

Todo esto me enseña, que podemos dar y recibir de esos pequeños retazos de felicidad, de los cuales a veces nosotros mismos nos privamos, precisamente por andar de corre corre por la vida, pero vemos con esta simple experiencia que si nos detenemos por un tiempo a darnos un respiro es mucho lo que lograremos, por ejemplo hacerle sentir a una mujer viuda que existen personas que se interesan por ella y que son capaces de dedicarles unas cuantas horas para darle ayuda y recibir de ella también mucho aprendizaje.

All this teaches me that we can give and receive those little pieces of happiness, of which we sometimes deprive ourselves, precisely because we are running through life, but we see with this simple experience that if we stop for a while to give ourselves a break, we will achieve a lot, for example to make a widowed woman feel that there are people who care about her and who are able to dedicate a few hours to help her and receive from her a lot of learning.

Confieso con el corazón en la mano que me hizo muy bien hacer esta visita, me sentí agradecida con Dios por todo lo que he logrado a través de su guía, pues una de las cosas que más valoro de mis enseñanzas espirituales, es la felicidad que recibimos al dar, que cuando somos bondadosos y hospitalarios con los más necesitados, recibimos la satisfacción de nuestras acciones y por ende vemos llegar las bendiciones de nuestro padre celestial como recompensa.

I confess with my heart in my hand that it did me a lot of good to make this visit, I felt grateful to God for all that I have achieved through his guidance, because one of the things I value most from my spiritual teachings, is the happiness we receive when we give, that when we are kind and hospitable to those in need, we receive the satisfaction of our actions and therefore we see the blessings of our heavenly father as a reward.
