Este consiste en hacer un forro para el colchón y los laterales de la cuna de madera. Sé que no tengo mucha experiencia en esto, mi madre sí, pero ahora no puede coser, sin embargo le pedí algunas sugerencias para poner manos a la obra, y aquí en este tutorial, te comento como me fue.

Luego de esto hice combinación de las tres telas, para un centro blanco, un borde rosado y la base verde. Este trabajo, lo dejé en espera hasta que el suegro de mi sobrina le imprimiera el nombre de la niña, con una corona y estrellas en rosado como se muestra.
After this I made a combination of the three fabrics, for a white center, a pink border and the green base. This work, I put on hold until my niece's father-in-law printed the girl's name, with a wreath and stars in pink as shown.
Cosí con mucho cuidado, primero la blanca a una base verde, planché y lo cosí a la verde que quedara centrada.

En la parte de la base rosada, le saqué los cuadrados de cada esquina para que quede profundidad.

Luego pasé al proceso de hilvanar, con la guata, para poder ajustar muy bien.

Le pasé costura recta con mucho cuidado.

Le puse a las esquinas elástico fino, pero al probarlo terminado en el colchón quedaba muy ajustado y tuve que soltarlo y hacer un plan B, coloqué unas tiras en los bordes que lo sujetaran a la cuna.
I put thin elastic on the corners, but when I tried it on the mattress it was too tight and I had to loosen it and make a plan B, I put some strips on the edges to hold it to the crib.
Otro proceso similar fue el de los laterales, serían dos del mismo tamaño y otro que estará en la cabecera.
Hice el mismo patrón, blanco en el centro, una línea rosada y la base verde. El planchado fue de mucha ayuda, pues no se arrugaba mientras cosía.
Another similar process was that of the sides, which would be two of the same size and another one at the head.
I did the same pattern, white in the center, a pink line and green base. The ironing was very helpful, as it didn't pucker while sewing.
Le coloqué la guata interna, hilvané y cosí, colocándole tiras en las puntas que lo sujetara a la cuna, quedando de este modo.
I placed the internal wadding, basted and sewed, placing strips at the ends to hold it to the cradle, leaving it like this.
Luego de coser los laterales, le pasé costura recta nuevamente por los colores rosado para firmar la guata.
