The pot holders are reversible, and I used red and green bias tape along the edges to match the fabric's designs and patterns, coordinating with the green vegetables and the chef-themed background. Los agarrradores son reversibles,y en los bordes utilic茅 sesgo rojo y verde aordes con los dise帽os y figuras de las telas, para combinar con los vegetales verdes y el fondo de la tela con dise帽o de chef; es un proyecto sencillo de hacer y en el cual se pueden combinar diferentes colores de tela, les invito a acompa帽arme en el proceso de elaboraci贸n.

Micromed fabric (printed)
Microfiber fabric (green)
Wadding

Elaboration
The first step in making the potholders was to cut the pieces; four rectangles of 23 * 18 centimeters in main fabric and two rectangles in lining fabric, also two rectangles of wadding to pad and insulate the heat, for a better finish I rounded the corners of the pieces.

El primer paso para elaborar los agarradores fue cortar las piezas; cuatro rect谩ngulos de 23 * 18 cent铆metros en tela principal y dos rect谩ngulos en tela forro, tambi茅n dos rect谩ngulos de guata para acolchar y aislar el calor, para un mejor acabado redonde茅 las esquinas de las piezas.
Once the pieces were cut, the next step was to assemble the handles. I placed the lining fabric at the bottom, with the wrong side facing out, then the wadding in the center, and on top of that the main fabric. I secured it with pins to prevent it from moving while sewing.
Cortadas las piezas, el siguiente paso fue ensamblar los agarradores, coloqu茅 la tela de forro abajo, con el rev茅s hacia afuera, luego la guata en el centro y encima la tela principal, sujet茅 con alfileres para evitar que se muevan al momento de coser.
The next step was quilting. For this, it's advisable to leave a margin of fabric and batting. This makes sewing easier, as the fabric sometimes shrinks due to the various seams. Use the main fabric as a guide, since it's the one that has the shape of the pot holder. Sew around the edge with a zigzag stitch and remove the excess fabric.
El siguiente paso fue acolchar, para ello es recomendable dejar un margen de tela y guata, esto permite coser m谩s c贸modo, ya que las telas a veces reducen su tama帽o por las diferentes costuras que se pasan, se toma como gu铆a la tela principal, ya que esta es la que tiene la forma del agarrador de ollas; cos铆 por el contorno con puntada de zigzag y retir茅 el exceso de tela.
The next step was quilting. For this, it's advisable to leave a margin of fabric and batting. This makes sewing easier, as the fabric sometimes shrinks due to the various seams. Use the main fabric as a guide, since it's the one that has the shape of the pot holder. Sew around the edge with a zigzag stitch and remove the excess fabric.

Then I sewed a straight stitch from the top to the bottom, forming an X. Then I sewed another stitch through the center of this X, and that's how the pieces are joined.
Then I glued the bias tape all around the edge, using a straight stitch, right sides together, then turned it over to cover the back. When gluing the bias tape, you should check that it covers both the front and back of the piece. With these simple steps, two useful and beautiful pot holders are finished, very useful in the kitchen.
Luego pas茅 una puntada recta desde el extremo superior hasta el inferior, form茅 una X, luego pas茅 otra costura por el centro de esta y as铆 las piezas quedan unidas.
Seguidamente pegu茅 el sesgo por todo el contorno, utilizando puntada recta, enfrentando derecho de la tela y derecho del sesgo, luego volte茅 para cubrir la parte posterior, al pegar el sesgo se debe ir verificando que 茅ste cubra tanto la parte delantera y trasera de la pieza, con estos sencillos pasos est谩n terminados dos 煤tiles y hermosos agarradores de olla de gran utilidad en la cocina.
I liked the result of the potholders; the fabrics have a beautiful contrast, and they will also be very useful in the kitchen for handling hot pots and objects.
