Today was another busy day with the plants, and everything is coming along great!
Let's get right into it:
Here's a 4X4 tent I'm running with a 250 watt LED panel.
Yesterday I removed the panels I had in this tent, to increase light in the flowering tent.
The meant I could leave this tent empty and my Crystal Candy in the closet, or move everything to this tent. It would make absolutely no sense to keep everything in the closet when I have the tent available so this is what it's looking like now.
The closet is pretty much empty except for the big aloe.
This might not be the biggest aloe in the world but for being grown inside of grow tents, I think it's pretty impressive. I have some low powered LED bulbs on it right now, just to sustain it and limit growth. I don't have a bigger pot for it and I don't want it to get much bigger than its current size right now. Hopefully those lights will be enough but it might need a little boost here and there.
I have a couple more aloes right now in the 4X4 that are really pretty so I'm keeping them in the tent because they are not very big and are definitely in a rapid growth state right now. These two were pups from that big mother in the closet.
Let's look at the Crystal Candy now:
The first main leaf set is starting, and overall she is looking really good.
It has a nice stout little look to it and a high vibrancy in coloration.
I found out through some research that LUX(wikipedia) meters are available for smartphones, utilizing the light sensor on them. I think my buddy 
I typed that in the search and it brought me straight to this app instead of a bunch of search results, so I felt like it was meant to be.
This is the LUX reading I have for both of my tents right now. This is a good value for vegetative cannabis plants. It might be a little high for the seedling, so I may need to adjust that after I remove the humidity dome. I know the humidity dome is blocking out a little of that power so I'm not concerned that it will get too much light, and tomorrow I'm planning to take off the dome anyway because it is ready.
With these LUX readers, its important to understand that the values may not be perfect, because it is dependent on the hardware in your smartphone, and hardware varies in quality and calibration. But you can find values that you know are good ranges for your plants, in accordance to the device you're using and can emulate the same results by using those values. They don't have to be perfect, just replicable in measurements ;)
Now I feel like I'm making some substantial scientific progress with these plants.

Well goodness I would say so, considering that cayenne pepper is sitting right on top of the head fairies trellis!

I love the cool little curvy branch structures that formed on the lower structures of the pepper plant. It's super cool to me and reminds me of trees with low hanging gnarly branches that you can climb on.
Here's a recent Big Mack Superstar clone that I've been considering putting out of its misery, but I just have this feeling it is going to come to life so I'm giving it a chance.
I feel like her sister (who grew roots at the same time) is cheering her on over there, so we can't give up hope just yet.
Last but not least we'll take a peek at the big girls.
Today I made the determination through my research, to give them each 1/4 cup of bloodmeal, and a standard size dosing of Cal-Mag. I'm also pH'ing down from 7.5 to about 6.5 and am hopeful these plants will make a vibrant recovery.
They grew their entire vegetative process with high pH, so this might have an impact on the overall yield, but I suspect it will still make a positive enough difference to surpass the previous results.
I also pushed the netting down and spread out the branches.
Logic is this:
I have another net layer, and these plants have not begun stretch. By pushing them down now and giving a bigger spread, I should be able to maximize the inner node growth push towards the light and get a decently filled canopy of thick bud growth.
I feel that this current four plant arrangement with five gallon pots is pretty perfect for the grow space. If all goes well this might end up to be a better harvest than I'm expecting, and my expectations are within a realistic and minimal range, because I'm a believer in setting realistic expectations.
The front facing camera doesn't handle the washout well.
I was stoned here taking this photo and the washout makes half my face look cartoonish. That's not an added effect or filter. I felt like it's a little trippy and like I'm in the Matrix :D
