It was sunny outside, but completely overcast inside. I went out in search of that sun which seemed unable to penetrate the barriers of my mind. I went out in search of that fresh air that never seemed to reach me. I went out in search of a strong wind to blow the clouds away, at least a little.
I often go out ‘in search of’ something, even without knowing for certain what I’m looking for. To clear my head, recharge, unwind, move about, find a distraction, be drawn in…
When there are few people about, walking through the deserted city centre and along the riverbank is an excellent idea.
I did just that, once again.
I always pass through these places. Always for different reasons, at different times of day, at different speeds, with different aims. This time I took photos of objects, street art, sculptures that have stood there for years but which I’d never stopped to capture before. I’ll take better shots next time. In the moment, it just turned out like that, without thinking too much about it.
Spring is just beginning here and it won’t be long before the place is full of people. It’s the ideal time for a walk without distractions or overstimulation, apart from what the landscape has to offer.
When summer begins, I’ll probably go for walks as the sun goes down. In any case, going for a walk in a place you enjoy is a safe bet.

El día estaba soleado afuera pero completamente nublado por dentro. Salí en busca de ese sol que parecía no penetrar las barreras de mi mente. Salí en busca de ese aire que no llegaba. Salí en busca de un viento potente que quite las nubes, al menos un poco.
Suelo salir "en busca de", incluso sin saber con certeza que ando buscando. Despejar, recargar, descargar, movimiento, distracción, atracción...
Cuando hay poca gente, caminar por el centro desolado y la costa del río son una excelente idea.
Lo hice, una vez más.
Siempre paso por estos lugares. Siempre por motivos diferentes, en diferentes momentos del día, a diferentes velocidades, con diferentes objetivos. Esta vez tomé fotos de objetos, arte callejero, esculturas que allí posan hace años pero nunca me detuve a capturar. Ya haré mejores tomas. En el momento salió así, sin pensarlo demasiado.
Aquí la primavera está empezando y en breve se llenará de gente. Es el momento ideal para caminar sin distracciones ni sobreestímulos, salvo los que ofrece el paisaje.
Cuando comience el verano, probablemente las caminatas serán al bajar el sol. De todas formas, salir a caminar por un lugar que nos agrade es una apuesta en la que no se suele perder.
