Raimundo se fue primero donde la niña Rosita, allá se entonó y agarró bríos para buscar peleas. Atanasio no bebió, pero estaba esperando a Raimundo. Se la tenía jurada. Tanto así que la misma Gertrudis dijo que lo vio en el patio con la peinilla lista, bufeando el nombre de Raimundo.
